Poplin is a plain weave cotton fabric with very fine horizontal “ribs” that results in a strong, crisp fabric with a silky, lustrous surface usually made from cotton, silk, wool, or blends of these. A durable, lightweight, and breathable fabric, great for clothing like men's and women's shirts and dresses.
